At an early stage of Alzheimer’s, my mom told us the neighbor across the street was having an affair. She’d seen a young woman, not his wife, coming and going. She could describe her in detail. She even described the white car that this woman was driving. My mom was so specific that we believed her.
But there was no young woman.
