As Women’s Health Month brings attention to gender-specific health concerns, one startling statistic stands out: nearly two-thirds of Americans with Alzheimer’s disease are women. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, of the nearly 7 million Americans aged 65 and older with Alzheimer’s, 4.2 million are women, while only 2.7 million are men.
